It's official.

I now have a toddler. Last night at 8:18 PM...Evelyn turned 1. Holy cow how did time fly by so fast? It's been a wonderfully, stressful, amazingly great year. Whew... we made it. I didn't break her, like I so feared at first.

We drove to MN for a birthday party at Grandma's crib. We had all the aunties, uncle and even a playmate. Eden who is 10 1/2 months old came w/ Uncle Markie... yay!! We even had our close family friend who will be/is like a Grandma to Evelyn. It was a nice time and we had presents and cake.

Speaking of cake, Evelyn is terrified of cake. Tuesday at her 1 year pictures, we sat her down all nakie and cute...and low and behold... she screamed bloody murder at the sight of her cake... She didn't want frosting or any of it... (who's child is this?) ...and yesterday again, no cake necessary........but such a nice day.

Next Saturday... we are having a party here in SD...our friends are all coming and it should be a great evening....
