Today I brought Evelyn in to get her 8th haircut. EIGHT!!! in 11 months..... As I sat in the waiting area, Evelyn charmed the crowd and I zoned out thinking about life and where it has brought me. I have so much to be thankful for.

- Friends near and far who stick w/ me.... through the highs and lows...
- more time than I ever expected with my Mom.... (and grandma ;) )
- my daily routine that allows me to take care of Evelyn and experience the joy of daily life....
- My joy, our blessing, Evelyn Mae
- My best friend, who I know I can count on to be by my side to the very end...
- the ability to smile regardless of circumstances.... even in grave sadness.... there is beauty.
- 6 more months.... of hope
- Our families.
- Hopes, plans. and dreams
- a warm home, food in the cupboards, gas in the car
- mandarin oranges
- hobbies that bring goodness to myself and others
- routines as mundane as DVRing my tv shows
- life... be it crazy, boring, day to day..... and unplanned.... Life
