yeah! For real!

We did. Boy, did I need that. A long trying week. A dear friend dealing w/a death in the family. A negative pregnancy test. Looking forward to very few months to keep trying, a sick dog....

SO, what do good parents do? We got a babysitter, went out for dinner and reconnected. We laughed, we grieved, I cried, we planned for the future and most importantly... we discussed living in the moment and cherishing it.

I've come a long way.... this Minnesota girl who yanked herself from all she knew to marry her Prince Match.Com Charming..... ( well not yanked, we dated 1 1/2 years ) all the crud I went through...put myself through.... ALienated in a new town, few friends, no job, fertility issues and all that goes w/ it.... and well....

Here I am... still happy, more in love, in love w/ my sweet child... and our little family and well, all in all... thats not looking that bad is it? I may have to keep reminding myself that we will be just fine, the 3 of us. Adoption has crossed the table but well, BUbb is getting old (43) and I am not far beind..... and well it seems daunting....

Blessed I am... Life is good. Spring is around the corner.... I will be fine......
