COlder than crap. What else can I say? Evelyn squeals in delight when we go outside. I knew it!! She is like her Daddy and loves the cold weather.

SOrry for the long hiatus... sometimes I wrap myself around other tasks and can't be bothered. Sometimes I know that its not that many readers here and well, when life becomes the mundane ... I let it slide...... yeah, thats pretty much it.

Evelyn is days away from her first birthday... how did that happen? She is having a LOVEBUG party and we have a pinata (strings not a bat).... a taco bar...her very own cake and... friends galore and yet, no family. =( Closest family is 4 hours away and well.... I guess it's not happening this year.

Things are good here. Saturday, Bubba and I did the Brainerd Jaycees Ice Fishing TOurnament. THis tournament is a fund raiser... the proceeds this year went to Camp COnfidence... and they raised over $200,000.00.... amazing! It was colder than shit ... the windchill was-29.... over 23ooo holes were drilled..... and 9000 contestants.... I was only trying to stay alive, and possibly warm. I made it for the whole day and not one bite! Im still proud of just making it til the end.
