1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before?
I had a baby, I never expected to, no one expected me to and I liked it! Wasn't sure I'd be a good MOm....

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Just to live healthier and yes I did....

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes, me! Ally, Melissa, Carissa, Nicole and Abby

4. Did anyone close to you die?
My Aunt died, but we were not close... unfortunately.

5. What countries did you visit?
I didn't travel outside the US this year. Sad.

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
Is it corny to say inner peace? Probably. But yeah. That.

7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Ev's birth, my Mom's first glimpse of Evelyn, finding out we were pregnant again! losing the baby and THanksgiving dinner w/ my sisters.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Being a good mommy, learning to take care of myself, someone else 24/7 and my home and actually enjoying it!

9. What was your biggest failure?
My misscarriage... I hear peple say all the time it wasn't anything I did....but did I do something?



10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
just the normal colds.... and mastitis...was a bitch... she's a cold bitch.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
mmmm everything pink?!

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My Mom. My hero. A trooper. Stuck in a body that is freezing around her. She keeps trudging a long, she doesn't bitch about being stuck in a rut, or what she can't do... when asked if she wanted to give up she said no. Asked if she had hope, she said yes... I cannot even believe she has hope. Amazing.

14. Where did most of your money go?
towards Evelyn, diapers, formula, going out to eat.... pink things.... shameless numbers of girlie things...

change for our country...either way

I have to think on this one....

a) happier or sadder?
OH SO MUCH happier !

b) thinner or fatter?
fatter...and i was 9 months pregnant....ironic....
c) richer or poorer?
im going to say pooorer? I spend like im a rockefeller and I need to stop. BUbb makes an amazing living, we should be frugal for a year and rack up the change !

traveling

w/ Bubb and Evelyn...what could be better?

Yes. all over again and for the first time....

hating is a waste of time..when i read that so n so hates someone, i cringe.... wasted energy

i wanted a healthy baby....got it...
a new car ! bitchin sweet!

I can't even remember what I did....sad huh?

seeing my friends more....

dreadedly unfashionable..... gap tshirts, khakis... jeans and keens....

Music. and my husband....

matthew mcconaghey.... until he had a baby and got weird....

34. What political issue stirred you the most?
Everything having to do with the presidential election, all the issues surrounding it, honestly.

a few people..... and i missd them greatly

MeL rocked....but in town here.... I let myself get to know a great many people and now I have this huge group of great friends...

cherish it all, even the mundane... it flies by....

i don't want to be that person who sat and watched it go by.....
